Footage emerged of the bus heading to the ground with the police escort in front of them.

They still ended up getting to the stadium with time to spare ahead of kick-off

Switzerland arrived for kick-off against Brazil without any obvious effects of the crash

And it showed the team coach bumping into the back of the police vehicle as traffic slowed down.

There were not thought to be any injuries to players or staff following the accident en route to Stadium 974.

And, despite the chaotic scene, the match still started as scheduled with Murat Yakins side arriving with enough time to spare ahead of the 7pm kick-off [local time].
